ABOUT WEEFAN PHOTOGRAPHY

My name is Lauren McCarthy. My parents, photographers Wendy & Charlie McCarthy began Weefan Photography in 2001. The company was named after Mom & Dad. Mom's nickname was Wee and Dad was her biggest fan.(WEE-FAN) 

At 11, I started watching them photograph events and weddings, I had dreams of one day becoming a professional photographer. I remember the very first day I held a camera, and the first wedding I photographed, just as I remember my first day of school. For the past fourteen years, I have mastered each and every job related to the wedding photography business.  After graduating from Siena college in 2019, I was invited by my parents to manage our family's business of professional photography, and assume the duties of managing our New York Office. In addition to Wendy, Charlie & Myself, we also have Lisa (contracts) & Sunny (editing department) All family members!

Together we use our education, years of experience, and a passion for wedding photography, to offer cutting-edge photographic technique, attention to detail, a commitment to our clients, our community, and excellent wages to the areas most talented photographers. We love working with lighthearted and fun couples, who are serious about looking great in pictures. We are committed to providing images that are less posed and more like a reflection of an artist working with a couple naturally in love!! We offer packages that include photography services like engagement sessions, destination photography, albums and personalized one on one planning. We also offer the best DJ's & Videographers in the business!
